e::PTW is a contactless system for transferring electrical power. It provides a convenient and efficient solution to charge the battery of an electric car automatically, without the use of any kinds of cables, connectors or users interaction.
Energy transfer using e::PTW can occur through any non-metallic material, which means that the source device can be installed under the garage floor, the paved parking space or even along on-road points.
The driver only has to place his vehicle and the e::PTW system will transfer energy to the battery. It consists of an on-road lot, an electronic power amplifier and a receiver mounted on the vehicle. When an equipped car stops at the parking or on-road e::PTW spaces, battery starts charging automatically. By using this technology in a garage or charging station, you only have to align the car in the right place.
